You may be eligible, depending on the merits of your case.
If you receive State Benefits or you are on a low income you may be eligible for Legal Aid, depending on the merits of your case. When we receive initial instructions from you we will advise as to whether or not you are able to apply for Legal Aid to pursue your case.
Legal Aid is provided at all Police Station interviews, regardless of income. Read more in our guide to criminal proceedings.
